This information is saved only in your device's local storage using secure methods (e.g., Hive database). The app does not upload or transmit this data to any external server or third-party service.


2. Permissions We Use and Why

To function as intended, Hidden Device Detector requires the following permissions:

 

Permission Purpose    

Camera To detect hidden lenses and infrared devices    

Bluetooth & Bluetooth Admin To scan for nearby Bluetooth devices    

Wi-Fi Access & Change Wi-Fi State To detect Wi-Fi-based hidden devices    

Location (Foreground and Background) Required for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi scanning on Android OS    

Sensors To detect hardware anomalies or signal changes  

The app also performs background scanning to detect hidden devices, such as during Wi-Fi or Bluetooth monitoring.


3. Local Storage Only

All scan results and app-related data are saved locally on your device using secure local storage. You have full control over your data and can clear it by deleting app data from your device settings.


4. No Data Sharing

We do not share your data with:

External servers

Third-party APIs

Advertising platforms

Analytics providers

Your data remains private and confined to your device.


5. Children’s Privacy

This app is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child under 13 has used the app and stored personal information, please contact us to request deletion.

Uninstall the app to stop all data collection

Delete your local scan data by clearing app storage
